About Dr Brenda Maguire
Dr Brenda Maguire studied pharmacy in Bath University and trained in Great Ormond St Children’s Hospital, London in 1995. She then went on to study Medicine in the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin graduating in 2001. She completed her GP specialist training in Edinburgh in 2005 and joined the Clifford practice in 2007.
Dr Maguire’s special interest are paediatrics, women’s health, dermatology and skincare. She has been practising aesthetic medicine since 2006 after specialising in non surgical cosmetic procedures in London.
Dr Maguire set up womenshealthgp.ie with Dr Casey in 2018. Her clinics include specialised appointments for menopause, fertility, contraception and well women’s health screening. She inserts Mirena /copper coils and Implanon, the contraceptive implant.
