About Dr Sarah Callaghan

Dr Sarah Callaghan completed her medical degree at National University of Ireland, Galway, graduating in 2002. She then moved on to complete Specialist training in general practice before taking up a position as a GP in the Student Health Centre at NUI, Galway.

In 2012, Dr Callaghan moved to Toronto, Canada and worked as a GP in St. Michael’s Hospital Department of Family and Community Medicine. The opportunity of working as part of this large multidisciplinary team has helped Dr Callaghan develop her belief in holistic medicine; looking at the whole person and the circumstances surrounding them to better understand their healthcare needs.

Dr Callaghan returned to Ireland and joined Dr Tim O’Neill and Dr Brian Cahill in 2017 providing GP care with a focus on women’s health. Dr Callaghan’s aim is to support women in managing their health and wellbeing in an informative and positive environment.
